CALVIN BONDS

Calvin Bonds is a storyteller who focuses on global market organizational development.  He has over 10 years of experience in helping organizations advance in the global market through telling stories that allow employees to learn complex systems. He began his storytelling journey by studying the English language at LeMoyne-Owen College. It was here that he learned how to relay satirical, metaphorical, and allegorical messages in stories through works like Shakespeare’s “Othello”, Geoffrey Chaucer’s “The Canterbury Tales”, and John Milton’s “Paradise Lost.” While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Calvin was also able to observe the emotionalism and syncopation of dramatic stories through studying and performing Italian Opera at the University of Pisa (Italy), under the direction of world-renowned opera coach, Pieralba Soroga.

In his graduate studies, Calvin earned an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Irvine University, graduating as valedictorian. It was here that he learned the business behind organizational storytelling that was just being discovered in the global market. He went on to graduate summa cum laude from University of Phoenix with a Masters in Education in Adult Education and Training. Through this experience, he began constructing his unique abilities as a consultant who tells stories as a means of training and development in corporate America.

To tap into the international market, Calvin became equipped to tell stories among global clients who speak English as a second language by earning an International TESOL Certification. Currently he is enrolled in the doctoral program in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University, where he also serves as an adjunct professor to international students from China, and South America.

Calvin Bonds’ unique approach to storytelling has saturated the global market. Along with the United States, he specifically has worked with companies in China, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Abuja, and Mexico. In the state of California, he practiced organizational storytelling for various companies Payless, Converse, Mattel, OHL Logistics, Kenworth Trucks, Burlington Coat Factory, Stater Brothers, World Wide Technology, and several others.

Calvin Bonds is responsible for using stories while constructing an entrepreneurial training curriculum for Operation Hope (http://www.operationhope.org), a nationally known organization that works with the White House on certain community initiatives.
